Justin Berkebile is from Johnstown Pennsylvania. He is a graduate of Pennsylvania Culinary Institute earning a degree in pastry arts in 2001. He started his career working in the pastry kitchen at the Federalist Restaurant in the Fifteen Beacon Hotel in Boston Massachusetts.
After two years in Boston he returned home to Johnstown and became the Pastry Chef at Green Gables Restaurant. While there he was promoted to Chef De Cuisine after working his way up on the savory side of the kitchen. He has worked in many restaurants in the Johnstown area as upper kitchen management over the last 14 years.
In early 2014 Justin moved to the State College area to become the Sous Chef of Spats Cafe.
Through out his career he has been featured in the Johnstown Tribune Democrat news paper for his desserts in 2005 and again in 2006 for being the Executive Chef of Four Corners Restaurant.
